Shaleah is a Palos Verdes resident who is available for in home tutoring for the subjects of English regular and honors, general K-7th, and History AP (European, World, US). In addition to these courses she is also a great tutor if you have a student with ADHD or if your student is dealing with auditory processing issues or has other special needs. She is great with students with special needs and has a knack for adapting her teaching to fit the learning style of the student she is working with.

Shaleah is originally from Eugene, Oregon. Upon graduation she received a full ride scholarship from the Ford Family Foundation. Then she attended the University of Oregon and graduated Cum Lade with a 3.89 GPA in 2011. She has worked with children in a variety of capacities including being a Sunday school teacher, a camp counselor, an aide and activity leader for a classroom of 40 kindergartners and finally as an academic tutor for students K-12.

Her specialties include general education K- 8, AP History, English, college entrance essays and scholarship applications. She also works with children who have learning disabilities. Her favorite part of tutoring is seeing her clients get better test scores and gaining confidence from their success. Her hobbies include playing with her french bulldog Lola, ceramics, theatre, playing guitar, filmmaking and skiing.
