Kathrine has been tutoring since she began college in 1999. She has been tutoring in the Palos Verdes and Rolling Hills areas regularly since 2006 and is familiar with the curriculums of Chadwick, PVHS, and PVPHS...including what the teachers focus on and the books the schools use. She is truly adept at what she does, with impeccable explanation and motivation skills, as well as complete mastery of chemistry and other science related subjects.

Kathrine received her bachelor's degree in Biology with an emphasis in Bio-Chemistry in 2004 from California State University, Dominguez Hills. In 1999, while working towards her degree, she began her work as a tutor for all levels of Chemistry as well as basic Algebra, biology, and other science subjects.

In addition to possessing a number of years of tutoring experience, Kathrine has also acquired several years of hands on experience in the field of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Kathrine tries to take a real-life approach to these subjects when assisting her pupils because she feels that seeing them in action in everyday life helps to improve comprehension and understanding of the subject. She prides herself on having an excellent ability to explain difficult concepts as well as a light-hearted persona and sense of humor.

These traits, coupled with her unending patience, experience with pupils of all ages and abilities, ability to easily explain difficult chemistry concepts, and her highly professional work ethic make her an outstanding tutor for Chemistry and most other science related subjects.
